Get Flexibility to the MAX New KeepRite® Ductless Air Handlers Provide
Application Flexibility, Multi-Zone Compatibility and Efficient Comfort
Get flexibility to the MAX with the new KeepRite® DLFSAA and DLFLAA Ductless Air Handlers. With their amazing application flexibility, zoning capabilities, and efficiency (up to 20.0 SEER / 10.4 HSPF and heating operation down to -22° F when paired with compatible KeepRite ductless heat pumps)1, these ductless air handlers have comfort and performance covered!
The new ductless air handlers offer big benefits for dealers and homeowners:
- Application Flexibility: This new line of ductless air handlers takes flexibility to the MAX. They can provide unique solutions to the most perplexing design problems. From simple additions, replacements, or renovations to areas with tight space requirements (i.e., historical renovations) or areas where the HVAC load can't be managed by the existing system, these are the systems for you.
- Installation Flexibility: This ductless air handler can be installed vertically (upflow or downflow) or horizontally (left or right) to accommodate almost any HVAC configuration thanks to a built-in, fully convertible secondary drain pan. Available in two-ton (24), three-ton (36) and four-ton (48) sizes, these units operate as traditional central ducted systems when paired with compatible single-zone outdoor units, all while achieving the benefits of a full inverter system.
- Multi-Zone Compatibility: The DLFSAA two-ton ductless air handler is compatible with the KeepRite DLCMRA multi-zone outdoor unit. Together, these products can create one integrated system with customized heating and cooling for optimal zoning capabilities. Please refer to the compatibility chart below for additional options.
DLFSAA / DLFLAA Ductless Air Handler Compatibility

- Efficient Comfort: The DLFSAA and DLFLAA Air Handlers achieve up to 20.0 SEER and 10.4 HSPF1 to provide efficient comfort. Select sizes are ENERGY STAR®-certified, depending on the outdoor unit pairing.2
- Outstanding Performance in Extreme Temperatures: These ductless models also have a broad temperature range allowing for comfort even in the most extreme outdoor conditions. Select units can provide warm comfort during frigid outdoor temperatures as low as -22° F and cool conditions in hot weather up to 122° F.1
- Fast, Flexible and Smart Installation: These units are components of a compact and efficient ductless system. Once in place and started, they will automatically match the airflow volume for different ducting lengths throughout the home. An engineered algorithm is used to match the existing ductwork. It determines the closest static pressure setting and instructs the ECM fan motor to deliver custom airflow volume to each room. This algorithm ensures the airflow volume is properly aligned with the demands of ducting. It also provides optimal comfort at an exceptionally low noise range.
Simple Service: Quick removal of the top panel on the outdoor unit allows access to the control compartment for routine maintenance checks and cleaning. Indoor units have easy-access service panels and the ductless air handlers have self-diagnostic tools to assist with troubleshooting.
- User-Friendly Controls: The DLFSAA and DLFLAA Air Handlers have five operating modes to choose from: cool, heat, dry, fan and auto. With a factory-installed, 24-volt interface, they can be adapted for use with any compatible third-party thermostat.3 This provides homeowners with full flexibility of control right out of the box.
- Whisper Quiet: Thanks to the onboard ECM motor, these air handlers run quietly while providing maximum temperature, comfort, and energy efficiency. Paired with our extremely quiet outdoor inverter-controlled heat pumps, the combinations are even more attractive for homeowners who prefer to keep noise to a minimum.
- Built to Last: These multiposition air handlers, when paired with a compatible inverter-driven heat pump model, include built-in safety features to prevent freeze-up and high evaporator temperatures.
KeepRite ductless air handlers have a ten-year parts limited warranty for residential single and multi-family applications.4 They are also backed by a seven-year limited warranty for commercial applications.4
